A few tips about caring for pashmina.

With proper care pashmina will maintain it's looks for long and also increase in softness and so here are some tips from us.

It's best not to dry clean pashmina.

• For best results hand wash in cold water  with a low pH shampoo or use pure castille soap. Never use Woolite or similar products. Woolite oddly enough, is formulated for silks and cottons. It's not good for fine woolens.
• To dry, press out the excess water and hang over a shower curtain rod or lay it down on a flat surface. To restore the finish, when dry cover with a sheet of newspaper and press with a hot iron.
• Many of our customers report good results with washing cashmere by machine on gentle cycle.
• Wood attracts bugs. So do not store it in cedar trunks or closets. Store it in a metal container with a few cloves wrapped in muslin.
